Privacy Policy

The Short Version

Your learning history, gold, and daily activity stay on your device. Campfire is optional: when you turn it on, NuggetKeep stores a small social profile and only the nuggets you explicitly choose to share.

Data Storage

NuggetKeep stores the following data locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework:

• ◆Learning entries (text you type and the date logged)
• ◆Gold totals and base level progression
• ◆Daily streak count

This private data is not uploaded for Campfire. Campfire only sends the social information described below and the nuggets you explicitly share.

Data Collection

NuggetKeep does not collect:

• ◆Device identifiers or fingerprints
• ◆Location data
• ◆Usage analytics or behavioral data
• ◆Crash reports or diagnostics
• ◆Advertising identifiers

Third-Party Services

Campfire uses Sign in with Apple for authentication and Supabase to store its social data. NuggetKeep does not use advertising networks or behavioral analytics.

Accounts & Authentication

NuggetKeep's core experience does not require an account. If you choose to use Campfire, you create an optional account with Sign in with Apple. We store a minimal Campfire profile, friendships, invite codes, blocks and reports, and nuggets you explicitly share.

iCloud & Backups

If you have iCloud backup enabled on your device, your NuggetKeep data may be included in your device backup. This is managed by Apple, not by NuggetKeep. Refer to Apple's privacy policy for details on how iCloud backups are handled.

Data Deletion

Deleting the NuggetKeep app removes its local data from your device. You can also delete your Campfire account in Campfire options; this permanently removes its profile and social data, including shared nuggets, friendships, invites, blocks, and reports.

Children's Privacy

If you believe a child has created a Campfire account, contact us and we will help remove it.

Changes to This Policy

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a new effective date.
