How do I log a nugget?
Tap the "Log Nugget" button on the main screen and type what you learned today. One entry per day keeps your streak alive and your gold flowing.
How does gold work?
Gold accumulates passively in real time based on your current base level. Higher bases earn gold faster. You earn gold between logging sessions — the longer the gap, the more gold you collect when you return.
How do I upgrade my base?
Open the Shop from the main screen. When you have enough gold, tap the upgrade button to advance to the next base level. There are 6 levels total: Campfire, Tent, Cabin, Watchtower, Keep, and Stronghold.
What happens if I miss a day?
Your daily streak resets, but you keep all your gold and your base level. You can rebuild your streak starting the next day.
Is my data backed up?
Your private learning history, gold, and base progress stay on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. If you choose Campfire, only your social profile and nuggets you explicitly share are stored online. There is no cloud sync for your private history.
Can I delete my data?
Deleting the app removes its local data from your device. To delete Campfire social data too, open Campfire options and choose Delete Campfire Account.
What iOS version do I need?
NuggetKeep requires iOS 17.0 or later.
